    Morning all.

    Rather gloomy here weatherwise.

Good luck examtakers. Didn't know there were exams in May. It's June here.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning all. Have I already said morning? I'm not sure. Brain is most scrambled today!

I'm getting lots of reports from the museum I volunteer at as last night they had to HALT their "PARANORMAL scare maze" as there was too many paranormal things happening! People being scratched, choked, throwing up, other people acting very aggressively when they're not normally like that, things moving on their own, people being "followed", shadows...

I'm afraid having been in the building late at night (very rarely do I actually see it in the day light) I don't know what to believe. It's always been said to be haunted - and since it was a police station (and a fire station) with the cells still present it's hardly going to be surprising that any ghosts found around the area are "aggressive". Volunteers have seen or heard things (I haven't - and feel entirely happy to be pootling around in the dark on my own). The entire scare maze with its actors is built around the "historical facts" of one of the ghosts although I'm sure its been embellished for extra dramatic effect. Perhaps its that ghost trying to correct them?!

I haven't yet decided if I "believe" in ghosts or not. Certainly I don't think even seeing one would be enough to convince me, I'm one of those annoying people who over evaluate everything.

As someone who grew up next to a Church yard and used to baby sit in some really old houses I know full well how shadows can look like something their not, how electrics only ever seem to go wrong at 2 a.m., how when one girl decides she's going to be ill her sister or friend having a sleep over is instantly drawn into also throwing up like a fountain... image

Ooh  Clari, I'm tingling just reading your post!!  I don't believe in 'ghosts' as such.....i.e. white floaty things, but I do believe in spirits especially ones that aren't settled and also good spirits of those that have passed that guide us and have a few stories of my own - both good and bad (or scary), that most people would probably choose not to believe!!

You don't work on your own at night in the museum do you??

OL - there's normally one or two other people in the museum somewhere but because the vehicles are spread out across the ground floor its not unusual for me to be on my own doing a few little maintenance jobs or at least scuttling too and from the workshop for more tools on my own. It really doesn't bother me I've never felt unsafe or at least uncomfortable there.

Morning all (just)  not a very good nights sleep, got up during night and had hot choc to try and get back to sleep. So then slept for hours!  Didn't help OH flung his arm out in his sleep and wacked me on the head.

Good job no work today, sunny here at the mo, still breezy but the forecast is for more rain.

Good luck to Mike, hope all goes well.

Good luck also to all exam takers and their parents, such a stressful time.

Have a good day everyone, off to have another cuppa and then wander round the garden to seeif the slugs have left me anything.

    TTFN

Ha ha! More they realise I don't stand for any messing around and would think nothing to passing them a sweeping brush if they're going to get in the way moving things!

They're hoping the exhibit tonight so we'll see what stunt the ghosts pull this time.

Bit of a miserable looking day here image

Planted up a hanging basket at the weekend. Previously I bought some plastic baskets with the hole guards you clip in. They are BIG, and 18 plants later, it is kinda full image These could end up costing me a fortune!

Good luck to those with exams. OL, hope you get to the bottom of the exam decision by the school.

    Good day to all image
