Ah, Wetherby. There was at one time a Wren's training school there, we young lads stationed in Otley would go to the dances held weekly and some fine freindships ensued until of course we all got posted. The town was the main road south from Teesside and for many years as i reached Wetherby it felt like being home at last, only one hour away, then they bypassed the town. Enjoy your party.

If I can, I will try and persuade himself to have a run through to Harlow Carr on Sunday, as were almost there. It might depend on the weather though.

Home from work - not too much damage here apart from the tile and the side gate. It takes the full force of wind coming in. Might have to rethink that image  Neighbouring  houses have lost fence panels from what I can see.

Just as well hubby wasn't in Shetland fidget...he wouldn't have been getting home!

Off to get a couple of things with little fairy. Catch up with you all later image

Think he'll have his work cut out with Novak  Dove, but great to see him through. Would love to see his brother win too  image

Are your unmentionables mentionable again? image image image

    Glad you're ok B'man. I don't think I'll get a walk tomorrow unless it's a low level one image

Around ten thousand with no leccy now. We take all that for granted here - not so funny when you're on an exposed island. I felt so sorry for the poor girl reporting from Saltcoats on tv this morning... although that's a place that could benefit from being battered by hurricane force winds.  It's a s***hole  image image
