Wonky, it didn't and it wasn't image Garage on Wednesday.

Perhaps RB has the lurgy. I'm still coughing and blowing nose, 18th day.

Dove's link didn't work for me either, said the page was missing.

I watched the MS programme too. Amazing, really hope it's a breakthrough. Worked with MS patients when I was nursing.

  • Verdun, the MS thing looks hugely promising. I've never had anyone in my family affected, it was muscular dystrophy that was our particular issue.

Have just found where everyone has been recently - Verdun's Which subjects thread! Missed it as too busy sorting out cottage and making curtains.

  • Hi everybody. Sounds like the cold weather doesn't agree with you all over there. Best come try our warmer climate here in Australia. What do you reckon Pat?

Where I am it's 33 degrees today, going up to 40 by Thursday. That would warm you all up.
  • Hi Fidgetbones,

After seeing Cirque du Soleil's Quidam on Sunday, I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on this one. All their shows that I've seen have been brilliant, until now. Quidam was absolutely boring. First half really really boring - I actually nodded off at one point. Second half had a few good spots but overall very disappointing. A young couple sitting next to me were so bored they didn't bother coming back for the second half.

What a shame you didn't enjoy the show Gingerimage.  And its ok, I'm happy to keep our weather thanks - i actually quite enjoy the changing of the seasonsimage.

Ankle much better now - thanks for asking Lesley and other folks.  Still in flat shoes, but not limping any more.  Just have to be a bit careful about twisting it too much.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.  With blue Monday behind us (imageimage) the only way is upimage

    Morning all.

What a difference , feeling better makes. The worst of the " Russians" have gone so no  more bickering in the lobby bar until the wee small hours.

Now I have have my sense of taste back, the food doesn't seem so bad after all. ( I think they've got themselves into gear after many complaints)

Yesterday was very windy so reading in room was the order of the afternoon. Had a call from Customer Relations to make sure I was happy with everything.

" does everything in your room work? "

" yes it does, well, let's say everything I need to work , works )

    she just laughed.

The weather is forecast to cool now for the rest of our time here, but so long as the wind keeps down it'll be fine.

Sorry about poorly peeps and poorly cars.

Jealous of Oz temperatures to be honest. I've got a bit of a chill blowing round my feet here in reception.

Enjoy to day one and all.

    Devon.
