Hope you're okay this morning Chicky!!

Back at work today for me, I really must put more effort into finding a way to magically pay off the mortgage and leave me with enough to live off so that I can retire. 40 years of staring at a computer screen is going to kill me image

Tree still standing, thank goodness. Now to try and find a tree surgeon who can fit us in urgently - after the recent weather i think they will already have full order books.  Back to work for me too, but will be working from home today, so i can be here for said tree surgeon.

    Morning Clari and Chicky image

Glad the tree made it through the night Chicky. I see blue sky outside, bet it doesn't last.

    Have a good day all!

  • Morning all, the wind has stopped and the rain is just a light drizzle, so hoping that will stop too. The garden is now very boggy and the grass looks like a shallow pond. Really hope the rain stops soon.

Panda hope you're feeling brighter this morning, take care, you'll be home before you know it, you too Clari, hope the day goes well for you both.

Chicky, so glad the tree is still standing, hope the tree men are able to come today, before the weather gets bad again.

Hope everybody has a good day take care see you later.

Good morning all - I've been for my brisk walk - back all hot and sweaty for the shower - now must get the day started properly - MIL coming to stay today so I'll probably be AWOL for a bit - hope all goes well for everyone today and that knees and trees behave themselves.

Verdun, how's Spike's eye - has he had his op?  Hope all is well ((hug))

Good Morning all, late as slept like a log.

Chicky I hope you managed some sleep, how frightening for you. Hope you get a tree surgeon today, fingers crossed.

Sympathies for workers, as Lily says soon be weekend.

Dove, hope you have a good time with MIL. Also same sentiments as you Re: Spikeimage

Morning all. Comiserations for those at work.

It is actually dry here today, which is just as well as I have been going stir crazy. I shall be getting out there to do something, maybe a list, I like a good list. I am not sure why I write them as I never follow them, but I like to pretend I work through them systematically.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Good morning all.

Poured again in the night, but something I could do is to clean the greenhouse. Still has dead tomatoes in it.

Also need to return the costumes rented from friend of a friend that were used for OH's choir's Christmas Show.
