  • Evening all. Or perhaps goodnight. Fab day on the allotment. Managed to get a good bonfire going to burn a few odds and ends. Got a big chunk of the new plot dug over, although it was a bit wet. Found one of our mini greenhouse had blown on to someone elses allotment during the week!  chose to dismantle it for the winter.

Weather was good until we left and then it started to drzzle. Very windy now.

My three clematis arrived in post from GW offer. Just got to decide where to put them now?

  • Which clematis did you get max

Will say goodnight all, see youin the morning I

  • Morning all.

It's taken me an hour to catch up on here and I didn't think I went to bed too early last night.

I was going to go back to sleep but don't think I'll be able to now.

Got a fair bit of school work to do- why do I always leave it 'till the last minute when I could have done it earlier in the week?

Looking quite nice outside at the mo

Have a wonderful day everyone image

    Good morning all.

Hi Potty, when I saw you here I thought I'd oversleptimage Hope you get the school work done quickly and manage to get outside.

5C and cold wind here, just heard weather forecast and a frost forecasted for tonight. image

    Have a good day all.

  • Good morning all image Bright and blustery here this morning.  Quite a few noisy fireworks last night, but we still managed to get to sleep - waking for the bangs and then drifting off quickly again - we must've been really tired.

A Baking Day today for the Pudsey Cake Stall at my leaving do - after all, I'll have lots of time to garden after that imageimage

Think I'l make a rich fruit cake, then someone can buy it and ice it for Christmas - not sure what else to make.  I bought some lovely Saddleback pork chops for supper so the oven will be free for baking all afternoon.

What plans have you lot got for the day?

Trip to Bluewater to get a head start on festive shopping - meet with my sisters this weekend every year so we can get our "joint" presents together.  Not normally too busy yet, and there will be cake!
