Leaf vac fan replacement

What ho one and all,

I have a Flymo Sirocco 300W leaf vac and need to replace the fan.  It is not difficult to find on the internet but I am unable to discover how to release the existing fan.  There is no nut visible, and and I therefore assume it screws to the motor shaft.  If that is the case, how do I lock the motor to undo the fan?

Many thanks and toodle pip

Rex

It may be push fit onto a splined shaft.  Have you tried pulling the fan or getting the head of a screwdriver under it and pushing carefully.
Alternatively try contacting Flymo for instruction on how to do it.

Not likely to be a push fit.  What annoys me is that the user manual points out. if the fan is damaged, replace it but does not suggest how to do so.
Have searched with Dr. Google and can find videos on how to change the motor but nothing about replacing the fan.
