This @Papi Jo. I'd figured where the 4 letters would go after two lines, but the first letter could have been a choice of 3. I put a word in that had 2 of those, disregarding what I already had. It then ruled in the one I needed, but if neither had come up, it would have been that third letter. Wordle 934 4/6

@Papi Jo , it's where you put in a word that can't possibly be the correct solution but contains a number of the possibilities for the letter that you're missing.
