    It wasn't the same word as that other website. I've now found 2 websites doing Wordles but not the same words. I thought the New York Times bought it for thousands of pounds.

    NYT bought it .., but with the creator’s proviso that it would always be free to use … NYT use it to lure us to their other games that they charge for.
