I had the same this morning (from my laptop running Firefox on Linux). I received a couple of errors - then cleared cache/data. That got me to a login, but I then had to create an account to play. I lost all the previous stats.
I couldn't open the New York Times website for Wordle but I found another site that had it, Wordle Website. I don't know if it is the same one but here is my result.
