    I think - like Mind your own business etc, it's best only when contained by a brick border, etc. I read that it likes to be damp. Like MYOB, I don't think you would ever get rid of it once it's in.

    I also think it looks fab (ferns struggle in my dry garden) but I'm sorry you consider it a PITA!

    Indeed so. I just dig out the invaders about this time of year and either replant by the lake , or dump them.
