Weed identification!

Please could someone let me know what this weed is? It’s seems to have spread profusely. Many thanks!

    Might be Winter Heliotrope, Petasites Fragrans. They can spread about. Especially in damp areas.

    Yes I agree, you will need to remove carefully leave some behind and it will just regrow.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Petasites [butterburr] is everywhere round here just now, especially on the banks beside local burns etc. I'd agree that's what it looks like.  :)
    I think you'd be seeing the flowers if it was coltsfoot. They tend to appear first. That's been emerging everywhere here too, in the last week or so. The leaves look too rounded for that as well. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Looks like Coltsfoot to me...
    Sorry but Tusslilago farfara ...common name Coltsfoot leaves are a different shape.
