@Woodgreen do you know what the lime green grass is called? I have one, and love it, but it was here before me. Is yours in a shady spot? Only guessing from the Ferns and Hostas.
You lot put me to shame, lol, but I'm very happy with how my little piece of paradise is going 😊 1. The shady border with evening sunshine, astrantias looking sexy, stachys upright again after heavy rain, jingle bells getting a bit heavy on the wall, got to do more stringing. 2. Osteospermum just closing up for the night, and amethyst lips invading everyone's space - there's another Fuchsia in there somewhere! 3. First flower on the hypericum today, bamboo's tidied, another purple salvia and Fuchsia which flowers later being out of full sun. The jasmine is happy, dicentra's just finished flowering. The gravel bird feeding area is always blooming. 😁 4. Gravel sun bed with the nemesia which stayed green all winter, penstemons just coming out, and the fuchsia I forget the name of! Phlox looking healthy despite the slugs munching it. 5. The shed bed; everyone's favourite 😉 hot lips looking great, there's a pink salvia behind it doing well, and the oregano just never stops, but it keeps the raspberry's feet warm. (There is a lawn by the way, which is a bit of a high falutin name for mine really!!)
Hello @AuntyRach It's carex elata 'Aurea', or Bowles' golden sedge. The one in the photo is on a sunny corner, but I have it in fairly deep shade elsewhere in the same border, and two others in sunny spots. The one in shade is much less golden.
Thanks @Woodgreen. Mine is in a sunny spot and is very vivid. It’s always great to see the new shoots reappear each Spring and produce a bright lime splash of colour.
Well spotted @Eustace ... Bonica it is ....... fabulous little rose ... if only it had a bit more of a scent ... but nevertheless, I wouldn't be without it ... this is the third garden I've grown it in ... it'll bloom from now until Christmas and never a hint of disease ... fab foliage.

Would you want it any other way?
