Thank you all - Reading up, I may have to move these at some stage as they may not be deep enough - they are in a planter - this is my first time ever gardening and I shall be calling on you all at various stages x
Summer Drummer. I gave my mum some assorted alliums, and somehow she got one of the white Mount Everest, and one of the summer drummers. I thought I had kept them separate as they flower so much later than the purple rain and Christophii, and they are so tall they need to go at the back of the border(or middle of island beds). I'll put a little ribbon on them and relocate them.
Allium bulgaricum or nectaroscordum are already in flower here. Purple rain have been flowering for two weeks, the A. Christophii are just beginning to open, but the summer drummers will be a while yet.
