Don't grab any weeds or unwanted plants to pull without gloves on. Spring nettles sting. A lot!
More importantly, don't let OH - who only thinks he's good at DIY - erect wooden posts using metposts and then string tensioned wires between them.  They end up being pulled over at an angle I don't want to contemplate for the rest of my life so he's having to start again.
In addition, don't let him trail the leccy extension down there when you're watering re-planted pots. It blows the trips in the fuse box and then he gets cross.
You have it easy Obelixx! I have to share the garden with OH who is a radio amateur. Big vertical antenna with guy ropes attached to trees and fences. OTOH he does put up with me changing my mind often about positioning stuff .

How nice of him to provide all that support for climbing plants.
Don't save all the plant labels or receipts for the plants you've bought since you moved in 10 years ago. then on lockdown because your a bit bored , get them out and wonder where they are in the garden then total up how much you've spent and realise you could've bought a new car with what you spent...
Don't divide and replant or move your perennials without a note, photo or a label to mark where you put them and what they were, especially when they die, one dead stem looks very like another.
Don't, in a panic, wonder what happened to the martagon lilies Monty said should be planted now, envisage rummage in the outhouse and wonder if they were accidently thrown out with all the packaging from stuff and then realise - they were planted a week ago and actually have a marker stick just as Monty recommended.
Don't presume that because you've never seen any real damage to your plants from the wildlife, that they're not waiting in the shadows to pounce when something yummy comes along! Bought 6 cauliflower seedlings at the nursery yesterday and planted out in the new bed. They looked fine when I looked out this morning, but just been to check and all the new growth has been nibbled down to the veins! Seed leaves left alone so obviously whatever it was is a picky eater 🤔 I don't mind providing the wildlife with an easy meal but they got all 6 of them. Every. Single. One. 😖 Got a cloche over them now to see if they'll still grow new leaves.
