Interesting point! I actually found the process really quite uncomfortable at first. Sitting on my bütt cross legged was a strain on my back. Kneeling was just tiring. So I found just going on my hands and knees did it! Like you would piggy-back a child if you are playing the horse. Like that. No stress on my back or knees and not tiring at all.
Originally I tried tying an old sponge to the end of a broomstick but it was clunky and unwieldy. But its a great question actually. How do we get down to the ground with a cotton bud if we don't want to actually get to the ground?
It's now a full, lush, even and mature lawn. I could not be more pleased with it. The photo doesn't do it any justice.
Weeds are completely under control. Couch continues to be a bit of a challenge but I have a pretty good system for dealing with it and managing nitro spots where the dog has a widdle are all part of the enjoyment.
