My mistake was not to have me saying how wonderful the scent was of a particular plant then zoom in to me sniffing it. Dogs and children in short supply too!
The dogs and cats on GW don't do it for me: so cheesy. I wish they would tone it down a bit.
Age doesn't make you forgetful. Having way too many stupid things to remember makes you forgetful.
So many gorgeous (and inspirational) garden pics on this thread, love seeing the variety of our gardens, thanks to all for sharing... one or two of mine this morning... feel it's run out of steam a little, but there's still colour to be found...
Salvia Amistad against the beech hedge
Hydrangea Strong (but maybe not quite strong enough!) Annabelle
Alstroemeria Royal Velvet; Perciscaria Blackfied; Salvia caradonna (should probably have been cut back by now...)
Agapanthus (not quite sure which ones)
Monarda (was sold as Fireball, but I'm not convinced...); Geranium Rozanne
Classic combo of Lavender (not sure which one) and Rose Princess Alexandra of Kent enjoying a second flush

All sorts jostling for position here; poppy seedheads, roses, alliums, achilia, echinacea, nastutiums, etc.
