    @Daithi29 @Dovefromabove  It looks very similar to my Sedum Dragons Blood.  The colouring varies depending on sun/heat, starting from a dull green in early Summer, but turning an intense red in late Summer, with bright pink/red flowers.

    @KeenOnGreen thank you ... it may well be Dragon’s Blood then ... it’s certainly become redder in the bright sunlight.

    @BenCotto May I ask how old is your Cornus .C. Variegated ? I have a soft spot for them and hopeful one year will get one.

    Hi Perki.
    I think that plant was put in about 20 - 25 years ago. A few years after it was planted an over zealous gardener took out the lead shoot so its layered effect was out of kilter for quite some while and then it started to lean so, this season, has been propped up by a stake which can just be made out.
