Help identify my plants!

Hello wonderful people

I was hoping you might help me identify some plants I bought.

Apparently they are all indoor ones however some are beginning to show signs of limpness and lightening leaves and Im not sure why!

Please could someone name them so I might find instructions on how to look after them best?

Images attached.

Many thanks!
Ebele

    Hello Ebele.
No. 1 Swiss Cheese plant - Monstera deliciosa
    No. 4 Dracaena
    No. 5 Dieffenbachia
I'm sorry that I cannot help with the other two.
Have you got them in good light and are you giving them enough water?

Ok the first one seems to be monstera deliciosa. Second clusia rosea. 3 could be an alocasia of some kind. Number 4 is a dracena. 5 is a dieffenbachia maybe 'Hilo'.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • Thank you All! The case is solved! Annoyingly they all require more light than my north facing living room :(

Your monstera and alocasia shouldn't mind the lack of sun and the dieffenbachia should put up with it even if it doesn't grow quite as well as it could. I've just had to move my clusia to a north facing window for a bit and it's not looking so happy about it though.

There are plenty of plants that will thrive in that room though if you want to change them. Peace lily should like it there for a start.
