I did have a look image ..... some lovely things.

I did a "being very strict with myself" list ...... only 11 different plants on my wanted radar.
As I usually plant in 3s and 5s (I've a big garden to fill), I could spend a fortune.

I didn't place an order as the greenhouse is already stuffed with plants sheltering from the worst of the winter .... hopefully they'll still have what I want in a few weeks time.

@JennyJ. @Bee witched.  I wonder how long we shall last out before we are tempted?    :s. We could delete the email or not.  :)
  • Looks like Spring won't be long now, only kidding all our garden is frozen and white, no snow yet as forcast for the valleys . But feeling Springlike have just had my new fill-ins from Secret Garden just gave them a splash of tepid water after all that travelling, better keep them indoors until I can move them into our Cold Greenhouse🌺 Look healthy money well spent I say

Mine turned up this morning, nice healthy plants. Gave them a drop of water as very dry and then tucked them in the coldframe. One has a label saying "plant me now" but looking at the forecast, maybe not!
Just wondered,  l gave them my mobile number and it said l would get parcel tracking updates, but that didn't happen.  Did it work for anyone else?

I didn't get tracking updates either.  But my box was delivered by Royal Mail, on Saturday from a Weds. afternoon order, which is pretty good. My OH took it in and plonked it down in the hall ignoring the "this way up" label, but the plants were strapped in with plastic tape stuff so no harm done (seat belts for plants!).  Most of mine have very little or top growth (as expected for January) so I put them in a sheltered spot outside.  Hopefully they'll be fine through this cold snap and grow away when spring comes. I didn't water - they've hardly any top growth to support and I think dry roots are better than wet when it's sub-zero.

I succumbed at last and have joined up. Ordered 2 foxgloves and a cowslip for my shady bed.
They have given me 20% my next order (!) and one for a friend - https://goo.gl/Yx65LF if anybody would like to use it.

That's a familiar sight @Valleys girl ! My order is on the way but I have not had tracking updates apart from the email which says they are on the way. Have looked at their recent email and have so far not ordered when I see those which still have to be planted out. They must have had a good influx of new customers. I like the way they present their plants on offer although it can take some time to get through the twenty odd pages  :)
  • Fran and Jenny after my initial confirmation by text on Monday I didn't receive any follow on delivery dates either, half expected some tracking details really but Hey I have had plants from a few like Hayloft, T & M etc with tracking facilities but SG plants are by far superior, can't wait to see how they come on by the Summer , That's my January fix for plants sorted better start sowing some of my own seeds gathered from last year or I might look at the new e-mail with 600 plants, what do you think Umh !😉

Glad it's not just me with the email tracking. I was a bit concerned as it was my first order and I wasn't sure which courier they would use. Royal Mail is great, as our postie knows about my plant buying (!) and knows various safe places or neighbours to leave them with.
