My order arrived this morning. I am very pleased. The Asters are so well rooted that I will pot them on now, and divide them in the Spring. The strawberries are strong healthy plants too.

@Janie B My lupins arrived today as well along with 1 Astilbe and 1 Digitalis. Are you going to pot yours up and keep them under cover till Spring? Other plants I've received have been during mild weather so have been able to plant straight in the ground. Here it is so cold at the moment.

Was going to leave them until the weather warms up in the shed in front of the window ... (or should I put them in Mum's unheated conservatory...?) Do I need to repot them into bigger pots?

Let's hope someone comes up with the right answer! I could pot them up and keep them in the shed or in the "utility room" which is just as cold as outside. I feel as though they need bigger pots.😟

I potted on the asters and put them out in the cold frame. I left the strawberries in my cold porch until I have time to pot them up in a trough. It looks to me as if the plants have been acclimatised so I am risking the cold, but protected environment. Personally I wouldn't plant out for another month or so.

Forgot to say if they look pot bound as mine did, then pot them on now.

Thanks @Purplerain. I will pot mine on and wait for some warmer weather before planting them out.
  • Received 8 Geranium Orion today from this seller. Plants were well packed, compost they were planted in was was moist to the touch. Plants had very good root ball for 9cm pots they were delivered in
Made 2 orders of 4 plants each as changed my mind on number required half way through the week and emailed them to see if all 8 plants could be delivered on the same day.
Email receiv3d back from them yesterday that all 8 plants would be delivered today
    Excellent plants and customer service
