Thank you, I couldn't resist a few geraniums. Another code for someone  :)

I’m not finding TSGC to be great value...plants are very small, and cut back quite hard to fit into those little black plastic tray things.  Better off spending a little more elsewhere, or a local GC if possible, IMO.

I have had quite a lot of healthy little plants from the site but have resolved to buy no more plants from the internet but support local nurseries instead.

I find them a very good value, the only company with similarly good value (or even better) is Longacres but there is less choice.
2l astilbe bridal veil for £1.35 is a better value than astilbe chinensis pumila for £1.99 only if you want any astilbe. If you want astilbe chinensis pumila specifically, try googling it and I bet you won't find a better deal online.

They are limited in what they can supply as they buy in from other growers, as opposed to growing the plants themselves. I imagine that at this time of year supplies are "drying up", and will probably pick up again in the autumn.

Has anyone else noticed prices going up? Last week I bought the Alstromeria and Asclepias for £4.99 and now they are £5.49 and the Crocosmia Norwich Canary I have had my eye on has gone up 50p. I think I spend far too much time on that site as I seem to know all the plants and prices :D:D Nowhere near as many £1.99 plants either :'(

Hadn't noticed the increase in prices until you mentioned it and just had a look at the website and as you say very few now at £1.99 and others going up by around 50p.
You would think that with all the sales they get from us they would be able to reduce the prices.  :D

Maybe too much people (than anticipated) using that 20% discount so they are going 20% up :)

It's a shame, £4.99 is way too much for a 9cm plan, might as well shop at my local notcutts at that price!
