' Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs"...............
    ?? Sounds like a scam!! :D
Was being facetious  @rowlandscastle444🤭 It's the title of a film😐
I guessed it wasn't a case of being literal, @Songbird-2

I thoroughly enjoy such gentle humour.

Today, it is cold and raining. No complaints, because we desperately need the rain. My waterbutt is practically empty.
Thanks @row@rowlandscastle444 just thought I'd better explain, just in case....👍😊
  • @JennyJ  Doncaster will also get its rain over the next 10 days, approx 60mm. The forecaster agree that it's not getting colder mid March but wetter, which is good.

    I my garden.

Good to see the longer days isn’t it @Logan4?

It will be the Spring Equinox this weekend!! (Officially Mon 20th) so that is literally light at the end of the tunnel from the Winter months.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Drizzle. Light rain. This is so good for the garden.
Even good for house hunting, since one shouldn't just see a potential new place in the sun.

@Simone_in_Wiltshire ! I'll try to remember to let you know my rain gauge total in 10 days' time. Today we've got frozen drizzle - very light fine snow.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • It was grey and wet all day yesterday. Today looks as if it is going to be a repeat performance.
Dog and I were soaked yesterday but we need the rain.
  • @JennyJ I saw this morning that Doncaster and more in the north and towards Norwich are affected by drought. Hopefully the 60 mm (which is more than half a meter) helps a bit. You have just 65% of the soil moisture

I'm surprised that it's as high as 65%. The soil felt dry and crumbly at the weekend when I was out digging up spanish bluebells, which isn't normal for this time of year. We have sleety rain now, forecast to carry on all day :) so that should help.

Snow starting to make an impression here. Roads still fine though.

    Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border

I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful
