I can confidently predict that snow is coming because the SM was running low on bread, eggs and milk 😉

-1.5°C down here but weather is predicted to be sunny later on.  No wind so far, but that will get up as the day progresses.

I guessed it wasn't a case of being literal, @Songbird-2

I thoroughly enjoy such gentle humour.

Today, it is cold and raining. No complaints, because we desperately need the rain. My waterbutt is practically empty.

Yesterday there was quite a lot of rain in the forecast, but we got hardly any :( . Today, cold but bright sunshine.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • Hmmm. Started off bright and sunny. Great, I will have some time in the garden. Then we had a mini downpour. The sun has disappeared and there is heavy grey cloud everywhere. Haven't put my nose outside yet so no idea of temperature.

    It had rained overnight.
