I couldn't quite face throwing out my large and very old flower pot, which, after spending every winter for decades out in the garden, was badly broken this last winter, so I decided to give my sempervivums a new home and create a... new aesthetic. (!  B)

These are difficult days; we have to have a giggle...

A thing of beauty is a joy forever...

Thank you for the joy, Phaidra!

As we can't ever remember names of cacti or succulents, we call them succulents or cacti!  We love an easy life...   :)

By the way, what is that sailor doing among the flower pots??
  • I love your broken pot and the way you've transformed it in to a thing of such beauty, Phaidra!

Like WE, I know they're not sempervivums; we used to have some, a long time ago, and I remember they looked different.  Perhaps like WE too, I don't personally know what they are.  I like the name Echeveria, so let's call them that!

I much suspect the sailor belongs to a grandchild?

It never ceases to amaze me that, so often, the seeds I so carefully sow fail to germinate, while others take care of themselves; and I'm not talking of weeds.  They're probably trying to tell me that I'm a useless gardener!

Here is one of my pleasing surprises.

    Tiny lavender!

It's so frustrating when seeds fail but the delight of these "gifts" almost balances out the frustration.

Something to look forward to growing, Zoe!

Obviously, London Underground passengers understood exactly what the government address implied: herd immunity. (??)

It seems so: just go and get infected ...

Worth noticing that they changed the red in to green:
