I couldn't quite face throwing out my large and very old flower pot, which, after spending every winter for decades out in the garden, was badly broken this last winter, so I decided to give my sempervivums a new home and create a... new aesthetic. (!  B)

These are difficult days; we have to have a giggle...

That's beautiful, Phaidra! A cascade of sempervivums (sadly,I didn't even know their name 😞).  Truly artistic. :) Now, why don't I think of such things? 🤔

That looks really nice and I like the way you've left the broken bit of pot so it looks like the plant has forced its way out. It's not a sempervivum though ;)
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Thank you, wild edges:)

Well, are you going to tell this ignoramus what they actually are, or WHAT?? 😶 🙄  ;)

Goodness, you're one talented lady, Phaidra.  Your arrangement in the broken pot is AMAZING!

As for their name, we do have them and OH calls them echeverias.  OH is never wrong...

Who cares, anyway, they're succulents, they're beautiful and a sight for sore eyes!  <3
