I couldn't quite face throwing out my large and very old flower pot, which, after spending every winter for decades out in the garden, was badly broken this last winter, so I decided to give my sempervivums a new home and create a... new aesthetic. (!

That looks really nice and I like the way you've left the broken bit of pot so it looks like the plant has forced its way out. It's not a sempervivum though
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
