Truly the nasty party. And since the other racist, Farage, has been making his horrid noises again, it seems that the country's atmosphere, is getting, once again, intensely racist.
I had a scan today at my local hospital, where parking is very pricey; so I went by bus. When returning home, at the bus stop, there was just one Indian lady, heavily pregnant waiting for a bus. She had 2 large bags with her which she'd placed on one of the two narrow benches of the shelter, obviously because bending down to the ground to lift anything when heavily pregnant is very uncomfortable.
About two minutes later, a white British man in his 60s arrived, took one look at the Indian lady and her bags and shouted at her, "How much room do you need for your bags?" turning really red with anger. She just smiled at him(!!) and said nothing.
I told him, "There's plenty of room here." He ignored me, as he could perfectly well see that one of the benches was entirely free. His overt hatred and anger rather upset me. Needless to say when their bus arrived, he jumped on before her!
I have a dream that my.. children.. one day..
will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their
character
What a horrible experience, Zoe. However, I'm truly glad that the Indian lady just smiled (!!!) at the repellent racist. He, obviously, shut up after that.

Martin Luther KingGardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
God's Truth indeed! That's what I shout every time the Tories come up with another stupidity, lie or threat....
Experienced by many, no doubt....
