That would be my Pentas lanceolata
My red Malvaviscus arboreus var. drummondii (Turk's Cap) draw hummingbirds daily but not bees.  Odd the pink variety of Turk's Cap doesn't draw the hummers, but it does draw butterflies.

Hands down it’s the Lavender currently. A fair buzz in the Abelia and Verbena Bon too.

Right now it's the buddleja. A few months ago it was our heather and chives :)
  • I let my privet hedge flower, and have no regrets - it's alive with bees, and butterflies like it too.

Currently its the African Blue Basil. A kind member on here sent me a cutting which I've since grown quite a few plants from. It flowers freely, in fact when taking a cutting and placing it in a jar of water, flowers appear on it in just a few days...

Currently Verbena B, oregano, lavender and the various nepeta and scabious. Basically all of the purple flowers. Oh and sea thrift and echinops.

After the rain over the last 24 hours the bees are all over the Salvia Blue By You and Spirea Shirobana.

Maybe they taste better wet! 🐝🌧

Lantana and the kumquat is re-flowering, much to the pleasure of the bees. Popular too are some small-flowering, mixed, pink zinnias I grew from seed that have been in flower around two months so far and still have buds.
