@Dovefromabove, I have this Tradescantia 'Sweet Kate' in my garden too and am amazed at it's long flowering period (and lovely blue colour). A must have in any border. @Lily Pilly, Fantastic Burning Bush.🥇
Gorgeous colours, Dove. I'm impressed by the lack of slug damage on Sweet Kate - she got munched to death in my garden.
My Amelanchier appears to have approximately 3 leaves left. It's been windy!
We get very little slug damage if any in that bed ... that hosta is in the same bed and is virtually intact ... but I have found a large toad lurking around there on several occasions .... it's good to have helpful friends.
NB I've never used any slug pellets or nematodes or any other slug deterrents in that bed which is west facing and in full shade for half the day
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I too found a toad in the Hosta bed , no doubt enjoying the slugs 🐌
Lovely colours Papi Jo.
I wasn't aware that there was a prostrate form of Abelia.
Beautiful
Monty's not the only one with a wheelbarrow and a narrow path. I'll have to make do with a couple of mangey foxes instead of the dogs.
